JALAJAM COLLEGE PROGRAMMES ACADEMIC YEAR 2024-2025

1. ECO-TOUR with Students at Mayuri Park. (4th July 2024)

Our student embark on an enriching eco-tour to Mayuri Park, fostering a connection with nature. The event, organized by the college included interactive sessions on environmental conservation, guided nature walks, and team activities aimed at promoting sustainability awareness among students. The lush greenery and serene environment of Mayuri Park served at the perfect backdrop for this educational and recreational experience.

2. Anti Drug Pledge (Nashaa Mukth Bharath) (12th August 2024)

The college organized the “Nasha Mukth Bharath” Anti-Drug pledge program to promote a drug-free society. Students and staff united to take a frim pledge against drug abuse, committing to create awareness and support a healthier, addiction-free nation. The event high lighted the importance of collective efforts in building a drug-free India.

3. Independence Day Celebrations (15th August 2024)

The college proudly celebrated Independence day with great enthusiasm and patriotism. The event began with the hoisting of the national flag, followed by the national anthem. Students showcased their talents through cultural performances, including patriotic songs, dances and speeches. The celebration highlighted the importance of freedom, unity and sacrifices of our national heroes.

4. Teachers Day (5th September 2024)

The college celebrated Teachers’ Day with great enthusiasm to honor the dedication and contributions of college Teachers. Teachers were appreciated for their guidance and efforts in shaping the future of students. The celebration fostered respect and admiration for educators.

5. Bathukamma Celebrations (6th Oct 2024)

The college joyfully celebrated Bathukamma, showcasing the rich culture heritage of Telangana. Students and staff came together dressed in traditional attire, to create vibrant floral arrangements and sing folk songs. The event was filled with enthusiasm, reflecting unity and devotion. The celebration honored the significance of nature, womanhood, and cultural traditions.

6. Parent Teacher Meeting (9th Nov 2024)

The college conducted a Parent-Teacher Meeting to foster effective communication between faculty and parents. The session provided an opportunity to discuss students academic progress, achievements, and areas for improvement. Parents interacted with teachers to understand the learning environment and support their children’s growth. The meeting strengthened collaboration for student success.

7. Food Mela (21st Nov 2024)

The college organized a vibrant Food mela bringing together students and staff to celebrate diverse culinary tradition the event featured a variety of delicious homemade dishes, show casting regional flavors and creativity, students actively participated in preparing and presenting food, promoting team work and entrepreneurship. The lively atmosphere made the mela a delightful experience for all. The event was graced by the esteemed chief guest: B,Laxman, president TRSMA, MBNR. Guest of Honour-I: Kiran Mai, Correspondent Gnana Bharathi High school, MBNR & Guest of Honour-II: Laxman Goud, Founder & Correspondent Lumbini High School MBNR

8. Eco Tour (24th Nov 2024)

The college organized an enriching Eco-Tour to the Amrabad Tiger Reserve, offering students a unique opportunity to explore wildlife and nature conservation. Students engaged in trecking, guided safaris, learning about the rich biodiversity ecological balance, and tiger conservation efforts. The tour fostered environmental awareness, responsibility and deeper appreciation for wildlife protection.

9. Mathematics Day (22nd Dec 2024)

The college celebrated Mathematics Day with enthusiasm, honoring the contributions of grate mathematicians. The event featured engaging activities such as Dances fun gaming stalls, PPT presentation, Treasure hunt, and interactive sessions to enhance students’ interest in mathematics. Faculty and students participated in discussions on the importance of mathematical concepts in everyday life, making the celebrations both educational & inspiring.

10. Mock Assembly (30th Dec 2024)

The college successfully conducted a Mock Assembly, providing students with practical insights into parliamentary proceedings. The event was graced by the esteemed chief Guest. A Anand Goud, Municipal Chairman, MBNR and Guest of Honour-I Bekkari.Anitha Reddy Market Committee Chairman, MBNR & Guest of Honour-II Dr.Madhusudan Reddy Sushrutha Hospital Chairman. Who shared valuable insights on governance and democracy. Students actively participated in debates and discussion, enhancing their leadership and public speaking skills. The session fostered a deeper understanding of legislative process.

11. New Year Celebrations (01st Jan 2025)

The college welcome the new year 2025 with joy and enthusiasm through vibrant celebrations. Students and faculty gathered for class-wise cake-cutting ceremonies, sharing happiness and best wishes for the year ahead.

12. Sankranthi Sambaralu (10th Jan 2025)

The college celebrated sankranthi with great enthusiasm embracing the spirit of harvest and tradition. Students and staff participated in cultural activities such as traditional dances, and Rangoli competitions. The event highlighted the vibrant customs associated with the festival fostering a sense of unity, joy and cultural appreciation among all.

13. National Voters Day Celebrations. (25th Jan 2025)

The college observed National Voters Day to promote importance of voting and democratie participation students and staff took part in awareness sessions a bout the significance of exercising their voting rights. The event emphasized the role of young voters in shaping the future of the nation, inspiring students to actively engaged in the democratic process.

14. Repulic Day Celebrations (26th Jan 2025)

The college celebrated Republic day with great pride and patriotism. The event began with the hoisting of the national flag, followed by the national anthem. Students participated in speeches honoring the spirit of the constitution and the nation’s democratic values. The celebration highlighted unity, freedom, and the importance of our republic.

15. Farewell Day Celebrations (17th February 2025)

Farewell Day at Jalajam Junior College is a cherished occasion that marks the end of an academic journey and the beginning of new adventures for our outgoing students. This event is a heartfelt tribute to the outgoing batch, filled with emotions, gratitude, and unforgettable memories.
